In a society when we are increasingly able to curate our identities and shedding parental, cultural or economic influence we seem to be striving for a kind of independence of soul. Magic on the other hand is influence from the supernatural or mysterious. Magic was particularly imbedded in culture when science was lacking in explanations. What explanations are we looking for now?
This year SHARP gallery are triggering the beginnings of a travelling exhibition. All artworks must fit into an envelope, which after being exhibited at SHARP will collectively be sent on to the next exhibition venue.The tour will explore the relationship between location and the theme.
