Presented with the challenges of Corona and being unable to use the physical gallery space, SHARP gallery have opened our first online exhibition.

We asked artists to respond to the idea of re-invention and to think about what this means in the context of reinventing yourself, your creativity and life.

The exhibition is titled 'Terra Nuova' (new land), with the concept that each artist is a point on the map of this invented land.  

The curatorial text which runs through the show, creates a story running through the works. It is open to interpretation and hopefully stimulates questions which allow the audience to dig deeper and explore the themes of the individual works and their own ideas.

We have built our civilisation on our environment, our needs and the meaning we attached to life. Our new land. How will we build? What is the land telling us? What are we telling ourselves? What will be our Terra Nuova?
